I would like to tell about my first experience with Once & Again and the Jessie/Katie relationship.
I remember the first time I saw the show in Danish television in 2002 (by the way, I apologize if my English isn´t that good). I remember the feelings I had at that time. The first episode I saw was the GSA-episode. It leaved me speechless, because it was by accident that I saw that episode. And I spent the rest of that summer thinking about the story and all the new emotions it brought to me. And the courage which the writers must have had with writing that story. I mean, they didn’t just make it another silly girl-kiss-girl-thing. It was so much more. It showed how there friendship slowly turned into something more. I knew that I would never forget the beautiful story. It was just one of those TV moments which made a big impact on me.

Several years has passed where I hadn’t thought of the show, but now the show has been on television a couple of times again. And I have to say; it is still a beautiful story between Jessie and Katie. Actually I am not a fan of the show. In a way I understand why the show didn’t carry on because it was not all of the storys which were that interesting. But the Jessie and Katie relationship were so sweet, beautiful and touching. That alone should have been enough in my opinion to carry on! To see how the writers would deal with the next part of there relationship would have been very interesting. I don’t think I have ever seen a teenage-love portrayed in a more beautiful and touching way. Fore sure I haven’t seen one between two of the same sex. All the credit in the world to the actors. They were truly convincing.
